Read through my photoshoot prep guide below. This resource is filled with suggestions on style, wardrobe, and covers tips for ensuring a smooth experience when including young children and animals in your session. You can also find more details on what to expect after our session is over.

The University of Dallas campus has such a peaceful and timeless feel to it, with its quiet pathways, stone architecture, and thoughtful little corners tucked throughout the grounds. What made this session especially meaningful was that she didn’t just want photos in the “pretty spots”—she wanted photos in the places that mattered most to her.

One of the reasons I love photographing families at LBJ National Grasslands is how much variety and natural beauty can be found all within a short distance.

The whole evening felt more like a family nature walk where we were exploring hidden trails and beautiful little pockets of light together.

The Dallas Highland Park library is rich with dark wood, shelves of worn and well-loved books, large oil paintings, and thoughtful artwork that invites reflection. Leather chairs, globes, maps, and softly lit corners create a space that feels almost literary in spirit, reminiscent of something out of a G.K. Chesterton world, where intellect and imagination meet.

On a beautiful spring weekend in May, I had the opportunity to photograph a lovely family in one of the most meaningful locations, a hidden prayer garden tucked away with winding trails, tall trees, small wooden bridges, and sacred spaces throughout. There were three Easter crosses, quiet prayer kneelers, and even a representation of the empty tomb, all thoughtfully placed along the paths.

This session was a beautiful reminder of how meaningful it is to support women who are doing important work—and doing it with such grace.

Moments like these make photography so much more than just taking pictures—they become part of a family’s story, preserved for years to come.

We shoot at Airfield Park in Fort Worth, a truly beautiful spot with massive willow trees, peaceful trails, and a charming waterfall feature. It was the perfect backdrop for a family who naturally brings a sense of wonder with them.

The wedding took place at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, TX, followed by a gorgeous reception in Colleyville. I was on my feet from morning to night and loved every minute of it.

We met at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center in Denton, where nature gave us the perfect fall palette: tall straw-colored grass, winding trails, and a forest brushed with soft yellow leaves. With a backdrop like that and a family so full of life, the laughter and smiles came easily.
