The Joy of Documenting a Family’s Journey Through the Years

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a newborn session for a long-time client. Being able to capture multiple milestones throughout a family’s journey is truly one of the greatest honors of my work. Now, these sessions feel like little family reunions—whether it’s welcoming a new baby or celebrating a first birthday.

For this session, I was invited into their beautiful home to photograph their newest addition. As I walked in, I was immediately humbled when I noticed a gallery of photographs I had taken over the years beautifully displayed on their walls.

Seeing those memories thoughtfully arranged in their home was incredibly meaningful and a reminder of why I love what I do.

Moments like these make photography so much more than just taking pictures—they become part of a family’s story, preserved for years to come.
