A Photographer’s Journey

When this amazing couple first approached me for a family photoshoot back in September at Lake Grapevine, I was thrilled. It was our initial meeting, and it didn’t feel like work at all; it was more akin to spending time with friends.

Fast forward to December, and they reached out to me again, this time to capture their precious baby’s 1st birthday, with the added delight of including Grandma in the frame. Their loyalty and trust in my work left me truly humbled. I am blessed to have encountered a milestone in their life and also in my budding photography career.

As a photographer in my inaugural year, celebrating my business’s milestones alongside these precious baby’s milestones has been incredibly heartwarming. Their unwavering support has been a rock-solid foundation, reassuring me as I continue to grow in this beautiful journey.

Our recent photoshoot took us to the picturesque Eagle Mountain Park in Newark, Texas. It was one of those serendipitous moments when I realized that I had my very own family photoshoot at this very location seven years ago, shortly after my son was born. Returning to this park as a photographer felt like a full circle moment, a reminder of how far I’ve come and the incredible journey that still lies ahead.
