The Heart Behind the Mission

I recently had the honor of photographing branding and headshot images for Heart of a Mother, founded by Jenny Bales, a well-known and deeply loved figure in the Catholic homeschool community here in the DFW area and beyond.

Jenny works with mothers across the country—and even internationally—guiding them in building strong, beautiful, and faith-centered homeschool lives. Her heart for helping other women is evident in everything she does. She is known not only for her wisdom and experience, but also for her genuine kindness, generosity, and the countless ways she serves and brings people together through events and community building.

It truly was an honor that she trusted me to capture images that reflect both her mission and her personality. We focused on creating a collection of photos that feel warm, inviting, and authentic—images that communicate both the professionalism of her work and the nurturing, maternal heart behind it.

Jenny’s work is making a real impact in the lives of families, and I am so grateful to have played a small part in helping visually tell that story.
